I think she really needs to pull something out of the bag.

Its all been going a bit stale - and I hope she isn't thinking or retiring... but she seems to have less and less buzz around her with each album.

Which is a shame as I feel she has so much more to give.

For my 2 cents I would hope she might try something different. I still think she would be a great blues singer. It seems she's taken the relationship/heartbreak thing about as far as it can go, so she needs a new direction. With her emotional voice blues would be a good genre to try.

I would love to see her and Diana Krall do an album of covers, along the line of their duet on "If You Could Read My Mind".

At the back end of 2016, I thought that I read an article that SMcL was in the process of writing for a new album.
I tried to find that article again, but with no luck.
Question; was I imagining this, or has anybody heard, or seen this snippet of news?

Everything seems to have gone really quiet on most fronts.

Even the website isn't being updated much, and her new label don't really seem to be pushing her.

One of the bonuses Nettwerk did was ensure that she remained in the public eye, with bonus albums, companions, remixes, re-releases so there were never to far from a release.

I do hope everything is all okay in Sarah-land.

I've tweeted her occasionally but nothing ever read about new material etc.

Well, she's still playing live a little bit. She was in Toronto for War Child' concert.
