We have a name for the next Christmas album:

It’s a Christmas project, to be titled Wonderland, due for release next fall, that features Half Moon Run backing McLachlan on a selection of seasonal favourites. The whole experience seems to have energized her.

and Sarah is single again:

Her recent split with boyfriend Geoff Courtnall, the former NHL hockey player, may be influencing her songwriting

I wonder if they were married. The article mentions "divorce". That house was apparently built in 2013, according to the listing, and has been for sale for 19 months. Maybe she got tired of having to pay for that long road to be plowed in the winter. You can imagine how much snow there must be in the mountains.

It's a "bargain" for a U.S. buyer, though, with the Canadian dollar down so much now.

I would be really surprised if this song was going to be on the Christmas album, but maybe it'll be on her next album of original songs.
She released Shine On in 2014, she toured in Canada and in the USA in the past years (and she is touring with Josh Groban now), so I'm not expecting anything new before 2018.
