Thanks for sharing Karine! I checked the website, she did a small participation, playing only two songs:Karine wrote:Look at what Sarah was doing on New Year's Eve:

Re: Shows and concerts
Hey, I found a nice FTE Tour book with a CD and fold-out photo section on eBay, just in time to celebrate Sarah's birthday next week. Do you have this Karine?
It says it was a promotional issue for the Canadian tour, and has the Canadian version CD. Should arrive in a week or so.

That's a great find. I don't have it and my Sarah collection is quite small, actually. I have the records, the Flare magazine (this one: http://www.solaced.info/album/Other/Mag ... ex.html#26) and the merch I bought at the concerts. My collection is more a "virtual" one: pictures and songs.Islandflyer wrote:Hey, I found a nice FTE Tour book with a CD and fold-out photo section on eBay, just in time to celebrate Sarah's birthday next week. Re: Shows and concerts
It arrived today, the original 1993 FTE Tour book. It has a fold out card with a lot of pictures, some of which I have seen in the Gallery, in a small book-like cover. The CD is the Nettwork original issue, 12 song version (made in Canada). Perhaps it was bought off a merchandise table at one of the early shows on the tour. They all look like kids in the pictures!
It doesn't have the sophisticated artwork of the Surfacing book, but it shows a wholesome group of young artists doing what they do best. It makes a nice addition to my collection. Guess I can claim to be a real Fumbler now.

I guess so, Karine. I've certainly been "Fumbling" around here a lot! Now I know where Ellen got a lot of the gallery pictures from, too.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/ ... -1.3167062Sarah McLachlan is taking over headlining duties for this summer's Interstellar Rodeo in Winnipeg after Sinead O'Connor pulled out.
McLachlan will open the festival on Aug. 14 and will be joined by band Whitehorse on stage.

Oh, what a nice cover!
We know that since Sinead O'Connor couldn't make it for the Interstellar Rodeo show, Sarah agreed to take her place... and she decided to sing "Nothing Compares 2 U" yesterday:
The image isn't on the right side, but the sound is okay:

That's a good one, Karine, except for the crick in your neck you get trying to watch it She's sounds really soulful and bluesy.Karine wrote:Oh, what a nice cover!

Isn't that Whitehorse she's playing with? Luke & Melissa? Maybe the person at the bottom filming Sarah could put theirs up in a normal orientation and we could get a better view.
