I'll send you the pictures by email because even when I create a public album, to let you click on the download option, the pictures are resized. :)

Two interviews about Sarah:
“I’m an orphan, my mum’s dead, my dad’s gone. My oldest brother died in November, which was awful, and now it’s just myself and my other brother, who’s four years younger than me, but we’re it now. It’s wild.”

This one is more interesting: she talks about leaving Nettwerk, her shows in Australia ("I’m coming out as a three piece") and much more:
"There was nothing really terribly wrong with our relationship. It’s just that there were a lot of complacencies on both sides. And I thought, ‘you know what, I need to shake this up and make a change’. It took me three years to make the decision. I grappled back and forth, because I have a lot of loyalty to them because they gave me an incredible opportunity all those years ago.

I stumbled accross this article... but I didn't read anything about it on Sarah's Facebook page. Do you think it's true?

Karine, I saw this article (received it on my alerts), but didn't had time to post it here... I searched on Sarah's FB page, but didn't find anything about it, too. The text says that it was posted on Tuesday, but it has nothing there.. maybe her team will post it next week..

Interview: Y98 Mistletoe Show Artist Sarah McLachlan (a radio interview)
http://y98.cbslocal.com/2014/10/16/inte ... mclachlan/

I don't know if she'll do it, but she was aked to sing "Song For A Winter's Night" and she said that she'll try to learn it and see if she can play it. I hope a bootleg of that show will come out.

McLachlan’s mother died just before her eldest daughter was born. “I feel my mother’s spirit went right into my first born and she’s there to make sure I don’t get too full of myself.”

When McLachlan picked up the girls at school and showed off a new pair of Converse platforms, they scoffed, saying only rock stars wear them.

“You’re not a rock star,” they told her. “You’re mom!”

Interesting articles, Carol.

"Emotional roller coaster" is the way I have thought of Sarah's music every time I listen to one of the live recordings. Whether from today or 25 years ago, the feeling is the same. :D

This "cathartic" quality is definitely passed through to me, too. :) I always feel better after listening. It's the same feeling that people get from listening to the blues, I think.

So which albums were the only ones she made money on? Surfacing and FTE? I hadn't heard this before.
