Shine On tour dates

I wonder if Luke and Melissa will be in the Shine On Tour. If they are, well they won't be at the July 9th concert.
I just saw that they're curently making a new record and in July, there will be a listening party for some fans (those who pledge for it), to make them discover the demos of the songs and meet Whitehorse.

If the party is in the afternoon, they could take a plane to be in time for the concert (the shortest flights are 1h30) but usually, this kind of party is in the evening.

Did they play in her band during the LOI tour, Karine? Doesn't she usually have a dedicated tour band to promote a new album? I understand they toured with her in 2011, but that wasn't to promote the LOI album, was it? I'll find out in any case on June 20th!

Luke Doucet has been in Sarah's band since the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy tour. You seem him playing at 1:15

It's probably because she is reading the text while she says it. She's not familiar with the language so it's a big effort for her and you hear that

By the way, I know what you wrote about the French-Canadian accent, I read it on Facebook, and let me tell you that it is very sexy

However, if you listen to someone who's more fluent, it's different. You just have to listen to Luke Doucet when he speaks French to see the difference, he's more spontaneous

I suppose that from the perspective of someone who isn't a French speaker, it sounds weird, but I can tell you that in France, I always hear nice comments about my accent.
