I'll have to check it out, KArine. I've heard of them, but I'm not familiar with their music. For some reason, I got off on a Fleetwood Mac thing a week or so ago, and resurrected "Hypnotized", which I hadn't heard in years. It's such a cool song, with delightful and contemplative lyrics. The photos with this clip are well-done and fit nicely the imagery in the song. And of course the later songs with Stevie Nicks are always great.

Any fan of Christmas music here? :D

Besides "Wintersong", Sarah's record, I enjoy these songs:

Tori Amos - Star of Wonder

It's a library day for me today and my "working playlist" is on.
Now, it's "How To Tame Lions", by Megan Washington and just before, it was "Changes" (by Sarah) ;)
Have a nice day everyone!

I highly recommand you "I Want", the new song of Alejandra Ribera, a Canadian singer from Toronto who lives in Montréal. She sings in French, Spanish and English, like in this song.

She's getting some good airplay on canadian radios and pretty good critics in newspapers. Her voice kinda reminds me Billie Myers' voice (remember "Kiss The Rain"?).
Check it out! :)

I find tranquil music like Enya is very good at work, since I'm usually being frustrated to no end by the stupid computer systems I have to work with. I've been listening to "Watermark" a lot lately. Also, most anything from Pat Metheny is great to "work" by, such as "One Quiet Night".

I should add Enya to my list, it's true that it's great when you work.

Even if it's late, I'm working a little bit tonight, trying to do some cleaning in my bibliography. It doesn't require a lot of concentration, so I can listen to music at the same time.
I'm listening to "Everywhere", a song by Bran Van 3000, a band from Québec. The song was featured in the movie "Practical Magic" (Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman). I love that song, and the rest of the soundtrack too! :)

I'm listening to Kris Berry, a Dutch singer that I discovered in 2011 when I read about her on a music blog. I have her EP "Flower Empty Tree" and her second album, "Marbles". I saw that she released another album called "Lovestruck Puzzles... but for now, it's "Flower Empty Tree"

I couldn't find "The Guavaberry Song", which is one of my favorites. Ellen, do you know her? I have no idea if she's popular in the Netherlands.
