Sarah participated in the 16th tie auction for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society (in October 2012):

There's a picture of the tie (with Sarah's drawing and signature on it).

Sarah recorded a video for The Clean Slate Diaries (it recognizes survivors of rape, incest and domestic and sexual violence, and those who support and advocate for them).

Some recent news:

Barefoot in the Backyard: according to this website, "4 Sarah McLachlan tickets fetch $44,000"! :D

Also: http://www.edmontonsun.com/2013/08/10/h ... -institute
Not only did Dale buy the Oilers road trip package for $13,000, but he spent another $22,000 to see Sarah McLachlan in a private backyard concert being held in September
I'm a little bit jealous!

Sarah gave signed merchandise for the silent auction of the "Show Our Spirit" fundraiser concert (July 15th, 2013), in Calgary (Alberta):
Silent auction items are pouring in! Thank you to all who have donated! So far, the list of items includes a Beautiful Jean Larrivée Guitars (estimated value of $1500), signed merchandise from Sarah McLachlan
I don''t remember reading about it, so...
In February 2013, for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the Celebrity Kiss Auction:
Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan's kiss has attracted the highest bid of £778.

Now that's a fascinating thing to auction. You could have gotten the "kiss" for a fraction of the price of that  ticket, Karine :D Less jealous? :)

Cool that her kiss outbid Britney's, too! Youth ain't everything, after all. 8-)

An autograph would be great, but only if I get to meet her (I don't want to buy a signed poster online)
I would love to go at a meet and greet, one day maybe. :)

I've seen some pictures of Sarah doing just that, so hope springs eternal! I would bring one of her CD's with me to a show in case the opportunity arose for her to sign one of them. Which one would be a tough choice....

Unless it's a show where she's promoting a new album, of course.
