Hey Migs, can I interest you in a share in this great little property I have in Basra? It's a snip at $250,000. Or maybe second hand van - only 500,000 miles on the clock. Ice cream shop in the Antarctic? Recording, producing, mixing, done in one month? Not unless some alien life force has taken over her body. Father Christmas will be producing I presume, with god on backing vocals. Can't see an album surfacing this year that isn't a greatest hits or best of.

If I'm wrong I am sure you will produce the toughest, dirtiest, most unpalatable hat, for me to eat.

I don't doubt we'll see a new album around July or August..... July or August 2012.

WolfmanJack wrote::P Now here is the information that I have on this new album. yes, it will come out this year and around the time of Lillith as she can promote her new songs as she goes her her tour. There is no solo tour but the Lillith Tour is the one that will be the solo if you can get that.
Part of me is hoping that you're right but I have mixed feelings about this. I'm aware about that interview she gave, but lack of recent updates about this new album makes me doubt that it would be released by the last quarter of the year, let alone April or May or June. I mean, come on, other artists (esp. recording companies) are already gushing months before the actual release of their albums but we haven't heard anything from Sarah's camp since the Lilith update. Yet Sarah made a promise in that Yamaha interview so I guess I'll take her word for it for the meantime... I want a NEW ALBUM this year like the rest of you guys, but the last thing I want is a rush job or worse, another compilation of recycled stuff + 2/3 new songs
*feeling hopeful (yet a little apprehensive)* :D

I agree with Miguel that writing is really slow process and recording is not so painful (although it can take long too, since Sarah is a little bit a perfectionist). I really hope and believe the album will come out this year too and I'd really love that it could be a solo tour and, maybe, a new DVD. Well, let's wait.... :!:

Well I hope that Sarah will be on the New York bill with Sheryl Crow. I only would be going to see them. The rest I listen causally too. Whenever she puts out her follow up I will be there to support it. Her daughters have to be the main priority. Many women only tour when their kids have summer vacation.

Wolfman where did you get your info from?
To fall so deep into you
Lose myself completely
In your sweet embrace
All my pains erased

And your mouth is all that I wish
Mercy of your lips
Just one kiss
Until I can breathe again
Until I can sing again

‘Cause I'm a trainwreck
Waiting to happen
Waiting for someone to come
Pick me up off the tracks
The wildfire born of frustration
Born of the one love that gets me so high
I've no fear at all

McBride says he’s confident a new album by Vancouver singer Sarah McLachlan, who headlined most of the previous Lilith shows, will be ready in time for the summer tour.

Hmmm...but he's management. I have a feeling I'd ask him to change a $50 note and get five $9 notes. How much should we trust mangement? About the same as I'd trust a guy called Osama to fly me to New York. Before I invest in the underrated Gordon Ramsey book "1001 Ways To Cook A Sombrero," I'm going to wait and see if the album is going to be this summer or next summer or the one after that.

Anyway where have you been Miguel? I miss your presence and posts. I admit I'm a pain in the ass but I do like what you and Caleb do on these sites.

PS - enjoy that Judith Fitzgerald book!

8-) Where oh where does our information come from. I thought that maybe you would believe me when I told you about the new album coming out this year. I did not just make it up to be cool. I got my info from the west coast. I phoned and gathered the info so I may give you some. I do not have a date as that my friends, is a hard one to get. You will see though that the Wolfman is on a roll.
