I've yet to wacth the premire as I ended up having to record it last night! I've been reading the 1st book for a year now... While I really enjoy it I've had so much reading to do for University that it got lost in the shuffle....

To get on a more serious tone now, I watched the Quebec debate or Face to Face for the upcoming quebec vote for our new leader of the Quebec Government. I am pretty sure as to what way I will vote but I will still watch the three night debates. Politics, they take up alot of our time whether we know it or not.

I can't vote!!!Empirejim wrote:To get on a more serious tone now, I watched the Quebec debate or Face to Face for the upcoming quebec vote for our new leader of the Quebec Government. I looked carefully at the website of the "Directeur général des élections du Québec" and there are 4 conditions:
1. You are a qualified elector on September 4, 2012
2. When you left Québec, you had been domiciled in Québec for at least 12 consecutive months;
3. You intend to return to Québec;
4. You have been temporarily absent from Québec for two years or less.
It's okay for #1, 3, 4, but not for #2!!
I left Montréal in February 2008, came back for 3 weeks in September 2010 and left again until now (and I'm still in France). I was at home in September 2010, so it's okay for #4, but because I was in France before, I don't respect condition #2. There are no exceptions for students, only for people who work for the government outside the province.
I wish so hard that Jean Charest will be defeated!
...
The last TV show I watched was True Blood, I love that show!

Game of Thrones is the simply the best bloody (pun intended) TV series I've seen recently! I'm watching re-runs of the first 2 seasons and I can't wait for the next one!Crazylitstudent wrote:New Season of Game of Thrones starts on Monday, really excited!!
