Arsène Lupin ~ A French film based on a series of books by early 20th century novelist Maurice Leblanc. It was okay but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
Écoute le temps ~ Another French film, a really beautifuly told ghost story/murder mystery. Plus it has Émilie Dequenne, one of my favourite actresses in it!
Solomon Kane ~ Another good film, but I thought the ending a little on the weak side.
Arn: Knight Templar ~ Excellent film set during the Crusades.

Friendship's Death ~ A beautiful 1987 film staring the always wonderful Tilda Swinton.
Caravaggio ~ Another film with her in (I think this was her 1st film), again really beautiful, but then again it is about art!
Sophie Scholl - The Final Days ~ Wow just simply one of the best films I've ever seen. I don't normally like World War 2 films but this one about a German resistance activist was amazing!!

just recently saw two movies directed by Arthur Hiller. The Americanization of Emily(1964), and The Hospital(1971). excelled dialogue in both films. Paddy Chayefsky wrote both screenplays, im no movie buff at all, but these films were greatly written imo

The Avengers ~ I'm in two minds about this movie: It is fun and has some good performances, BUT it has real problems in the plot department (There isn't one) and I felt it was a little too long...
Les Aventures extraordinaires d' Adèle Blanc-Sec ~ One of the most awesome movies I've ever seen! Really if you like fun movies and don't mind reading subtitles, you need to seee this!
