One Dream - the song and the video

I thought it migh be a good idea to open a topic about One Dream. The video was release just 3 days ago: what do you think about it?

Well, I was a little bit disappointed at the first place. I suppose that I was expecting to see more of "Sarah singing" in it, but I understand it's for the Olympics promotion. The more I watch it, the more I like it.
I was frustrated about this thing with MSN: "US only"! I downloaded it from Solaced.Info and uploaded it on Youtube. Maybe Nettwerk will remove it, but many fans wrote on the Facebook page of Sarah that they were happy to see it on Youtube.

yea the parts of sarah were nice. i liked the whole piano on the ice thing, she looked great too. i was hoping there would be more of her also

I loved the music video but I agree, it needed more Sarah scenes in them! Perhaps in the future when it's released, we might get an alternate take of the video because of those Olympic clips.

I also love the new mix of the song, a little better than the original and it makes it sound more upbeat.

The music video is great - it really could use more Sarah, yes - I really liked the way they combined the lyrics with the Olympic clips. And I loved the scenes where Sarah was in that forest-thing with snow falling! Was that her Closer dress she was wearing in those scenes btw?

Well, I think her white dress was the one we saw on Wintersong pictures. I don't know for the blue one.

I really loved the video, as I always do with all Sarah's stuff! I also agree with previous comments, I was expecting more Sarah's scenes....
I can't wait for the new songs, videos, etc, and for having more items to my Sarah's collection

Did anybody catch the premiere on NBC last night Sunday? I missed it because of football. I too wanted more Sarah which made me want new music and news of ticket sales for Lilith. I really like the song.

I like the song and the video. It is a one song deal and it will probably not be on her new album. Made for the games but quite refreshing to see her anew. I guess we miss her so. I can never get enough of seeing her preform.

I kept checking at the beginning and last few minutes of each hour but didn't manage to catch it. I just knew the program was going to be completely biased since it just featured U.S. skaters and of course they were going to parade them around. Didn't want to bother..

Haven't seen a sniff of the song here in the UK. Maybe I blinked and missed it, but as an Olympic couch potato I miss very little of what is broadcast. Here in the good old UK we can celebrate the focus on the highly talented UK athletes with an amazing 51st and personal best in Cross Country Skiing. There was an amazing 8th in Cross Snowboarding. What we really need is more shooting and rowing events. How about some ice rowing events? Snowball shooting? We may even beat the Latvians.

I now have a video capture software, that captures videos from YouTube. It was Lovey, Miguel, and the rest of the Sarah bunch who vey slowly educated me to what was possible. I'm still catching up with all the new technology. Lost a lot of my Sarah Mclachlan rarities which I had on computer two to three years ago, when I was wiped out by a virus. Now have external drives as back up. I'm slowly learning. My favourite McLachlan video is "Silence" at Pepsi Stage Amsterdam, a show where I had a front row ticket. I don't much like the new song but at least I know I can access it and capture it if i wish.
