She shouldn't even be in the same category is Beiber. Ew. I hope she wins, but peoples judgement is often clouded by th flavor of the week...
Re: Sarah and Junos 2011
Yeah, shameful. These award shows should seriously consider adding a "Bubblegum" category.Blackangel12868 wrote:She shouldn't even be in the same category is Beiber.
I can still tolerate Beiber though (as well as Miley). Pre-teens/teens also deserve some role models to look up too. And unlike Gaga, Katy Perry, & Ke$ha, I don't think Beiber has inflicted some sort of an 'irreparable, serious damage' to this generation's music in general.

Ah thank you Miguel! For all I know he could be big in the UK too, I'm really out of touch with whats popular at the moment... :-|Miguel wrote:Ben, he's a very popular Canadian actor and rapper (both in Can. and US), he was in that teen drama show Degrassi
@ Jessel: I thought Miley Cyrus had gone all slutty now shes old enough.... Its like all big female stars have to do that..
Re: Sarah and Junos 2011
Sarah has been added to the list of performers, whoohoo!

Guesses on what she'll perform? I'm thinking she might perform Illusions of Bliss as it's the new single up in CA.

OMG, Sarah in the same category as Justin Bieber!!! There's something seriously wrong with that
I really hope she wins them all, I know it's highly unlikely, but still

I agree with what you said Ben, but I think we can also say the same thing about young male stars too. Although male sexuality (as opposed to female sexuality) is best played subtly in my opinion. They simply get away with it most of the time on account of their gender.Crazylitstudent wrote:I thought Miley Cyrus had gone all slutty now shes old enough.... Re: Sarah and Junos 2011
Well most of the time it just looks tacky and ugly. Also in some cases, Katy Perry being a perfect example, the slutty image becomes more importaint than the music and I don't like that because the music should come first.Quincy wrote:Crazylitstudent wrote:I take it slutty's not good then??
