Last night's show fell under 2 hours, even though we were told it was going to be a 2 and 1/2 hour show.I don't blame Sarah/management as she's playing tonight again in a couple of hours and she had quite a few glasses last night (which she mentioned and jokingly apologized for) ;) . In my opinion, this was the worst crowd she's ever had, and that I've been surrounded by. There were many people leaving from their seats and coming back for drinks and hollering during the quiet songs; it felt like a cocktail party than a concert (and it's bad for me because I don't drink)..I don't want to sound bitter because I did enjoy hearing Sarah play live on New Year's eve!

Funny(and sad) thing was when Sarah forgot the lyrics to the first lines of the second verse of Awakenings and asked for help

Sarah fan questions in the Q&A included:
- meaning of One Dream: theme for the Olympics, dedication/perseverance to reach a goal
- favorite drink / who would you want to duet with: didn't hear it clearly / Peter Gabriel, Chris Martin, Bono
- who do you want to kiss: she said 'everyone on stage' and proceeded to kiss Butterfly and covered their faces with the paper she had (presumably on the lips but we'll never know :P )
- New Year's resolution: live in the moment more often

Here was the setlist:

Awakenings
BAM
LYIE
Stupid
Answer
IWRY
Fallen
WOF
Angel
Forgiveness
Adia
Hold On
Illusions of Bliss
Sweet Surrender
Possession
Ice Cream

She didn't play U Want Me 2, Out of Tune, Rivers of Love, Good Enough and Path of Thorns.

Melissa and Butterfly played 3 songs each and I thought Melissa was the better of the 2. The new version of "Passenger 24" was very dark and mellow compared to the album version. Also, Luke was back with the band

Here's the video of the countdown, it's the last 7-8 minutes before and 2 minutes after:

Sorry the crowd was terrible and that it was a shorter show then expected. Hopefully it will be different in two weeks.Seeing an artist at New Years can be unpredictable. I wouldn't have gone myself but that's me. I hope she adds back Out Of Tune, one of my favorite live tracks.

Miguel I hope you found it worth it to have gone.

Oh definitely. I would have preferred the Sarah show over staying at home and doing the same NYE routine with the family, which is why I went. The bus rides to and from were quite long though!

Here are 2 other vids I recorded, the songs I looked forward to the most

Man, I'm sure the shortened song set and the rowdy crowd stunk for a lot of folks, but wasn't the NYE one where people paid ~$700 for the room + meet/greet + concert packages? I'd be sort of upset...

I went to the Foxwoods and Capitol Center shows the past 2 nights. The Foxwoods show was a little less than 2 hours with no intermission. Melissa and Butterfly only sang 2 songs each. The show tonight was much longer (2.5 hours). And MM+BB got 4 songs each! I'm a huge Butterfly Boucher fan, so I was happy about that. They had a ~15 minute intermission. Sorry I didn't keep track of the setlists. Sarah was amazing - especially in Concord - I couldn't tell at all tonight that she's been sick (and no more mistakes haha). She forgot some lyrics at Foxwoods.

I'll be at the Boston show in 9 days. I can't wait - actually have a GOOD seat for that show.

p.s. I got tickets for both shows on the day of the show. If your show is sold out, be sure to check the box office the day of the show!

That would be the one. At least the people got a meeting out of it but yeah, still a short
concert

I read about that as well. the NYE show had no intermission either, Sarah and band played up until 10 mins. before the new year countdown

Casino shows are always shorter in length even when they charge more. The casino's always have a curfew because they would rather have the people on the casino floor drinking and gambling. I went to see Bon Jovi twice at Mohegan Sun and they had a curfew. They had to cut the first night set short and then the next night they changed things around to make sure they had enough time. I can't wait till next week. I have three shows. Two Sarah shows and on Monday the two actors that were in Rent.

Really? I didn't know that about casinos (but yes, most of my time spent in a casino is usually tied to a machine...)

The only shows I've seen in Vegas were "Vegas-only" shows, except for Blue Man, so I don't have much to compare to. The Blue Man Group show seemed pretty similar when compared to Vegas, NYC and the tour they have going on right now. None of the shows were exactly the same, but they weren't off by 20+ minutes length-wise either.
