Artists Added To "Sarah & Friends" Tour
SEPTEMBER 20, 2010
We are thrilled to announce the addition of Butterfly Boucher & Melissa McClelland to the Sarah & Friends Fall 2010 tour!

The “Sarah And Friends” tour will be one unlike any other, with shows consisting of two sets: one set with Sarah sitting in on songs by her guest performers, and a second set of Sarah's greatest hits and new favorites from her recently released and critically-acclaimed album, Laws Of Illusion.

I think it's safe to say it will be like the Atlanta show in August. Sarah still performed her own songs on both sets (took a short break in between)

This is all good and I hope she will please most of us. We all want to see her over and over again as she gives her all with each show.

Oh dear, I'm really looking forward to seeing Sarah next year... *cross fingers*
One little leaf adrift in the breeze, refuses to fall from the sky
Blown by the wind it clings to the tree, unwilling to wither and die...

FUN.....LUCKY, I had to be "Deplaned" 30min before take off. I had food poisoning.
Still it got me out of a week standing at an exhibition and talking to people who had no intention of buying from me.
Lost half a stone as well! I can think of better ways of losing weight though.

Oh boy that sounds awful! One of my next door neighbours came back from holiday and got food poisoning on the plane back. Really bad. She was very ill for a long time. A terrible end to a holiday. Hope they didn't send you to a hospital - those places can kill you.

My partner and I were still considering going to a few gigs if McL plays New York or Boston. The East Coast is the closest point in the US, so she can just about take the travel sickness if it's one plane trip over 6 hours. Worst experience was probably on the way to Arizona a few years ago where the co pilot walked to the back of the plane with a periscope. Seems they couldn't work out whether they had any landing gear, because the landing gear lights weren't on. So the co pilot has to try and see if the landing gear is down using the periscope. Captain comes on the air "well it looks like we have all the landing gear that we need, so we'll be landing shortly." Very reassuring.
I'm an opinionated old tosser and proud of it.

Concert review: Sarah McLachlan at Verizon Theatre
The stage looked like a stylish living room with three chandeliers and a backdrop of lacy, silky curtains. The lighting was hues of mauve, gold and red. Sarah McLachlan, the star attraction, pulled audience questions out of a hat. Each answer prompted some quirky story that led to laughter.

Also:
"Awakenings" - From the new Laws of Illusion CD, also very beat-heavy with airy synthesizer flourishes. McLachlan held a killer note on this one. She got a standing ovation.

I wish I was there to hear that song live!!

Omg I seriously need to go the ATC show on NYE, I'm dying to hear Awakenings. I hope it's the opener, or perhaps the new Possession (last song before the encore)

Thanks so much for the vids!! She sounds awesome!! :)

Shame we only get part of Awakenings, awesome song with such great vocals!!

I hope we can see her again in Australia after the terrible cancellations and shuffling of the Lilith shows :(
