I hope the surgery goes well!Quincy wrote:Hi Ed,
The answer is yes...and no!
Several years ago I was involved in what was a fairly innocuous accident on a bus. However, a few days later I found that I had a detached retina, and Orbital Blowout Fractures in both eyes (albeit minor). I've had surgery to sort it out but lately I've been having other issues. On one of the visits to see the specialist, I found out that yes, I've also got cataracts. So,Cataract removal on one eye, and remedial surgery on the other.
Apart from that life's great.
It turns out that with SMcL's upcoming concerts in the Niagara Falls Casino, most of the tickets have gone to Casino high rollers and members of the Casino. It hasn't stopped tickets appearing on the secondary market for up to £220. Admittedly, that appears to be front row but it still stinks. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this!! (Yes, pun intended. I'm not blind to all of these sight related jokes!!)

About the Invictus Games
https://www.much.com/invictus-games-can ... ssia-cara/Later in the ceremony, Sarah McLachlan (aka the queen of tearjerkers) performed not one but two songs, opening with sentimental crowd-pleaser “I Will Remember You” and closing with the newer, inspirational “In Your Shoes.”

I presume everyone knows about the Las Vegas shows at the Wynn Theatre on 24, 26, and 27 April 2019. The presale is already sold out, but I often find presale tickets aren't all that great anyway. General sale is on 7 Dec.
I'm an opinionated old tosser and proud of it.

I've seen it, but it's too far from me!TheSquirrel wrote:I presume everyone knows about the Las Vegas shows at the Wynn Theatre on 24, 26, and 27 April 2019. The presale is already sold out, but I often find presale tickets aren't all that great anyway. General sale is on 7 Dec.

As much as I would love to go see her live, it’s so expensive. For me and my much better half, it’s well into a 4 figure sum, even to The East coast venues. There’s no such thing as cheap flights these days.
