I've seen tracks on YouTube but I wondered whether there was a DVD version out there.
What I've seen of it, it's good.
Q
Quincy, take a look at this. Is this what you're talking about?

Guys,
This DVD is available on Discogs.com. This is the one I have, and it has all the interview segments as well as the concert footage. This is a remastered 2005 version, which I suspect was only originally available on VHS tape. (also sold on this side, if you still have a player :))

https://www.discogs.com/sell/item/494040051

The price is reasonable, too. I got my vinyl copy of Touch from this site, also. The one with the large format record sleeve with the beautiful graphics Sarah drew for the album.

Looks like the image is too big to display in the window.

I'm glad to hear you're doing well, now Carol :)

Thanks everybody,

I thought that I'd checked Discogs before so I've obviously missed this one.
Just need to check what region it is. My new DVD will only play European DVD's now.

Many thanks!

Canadian icon Sarah McLachlan also makes her first Fallsview appearance in November, playing Nov. 9 and 10. The two-time Grammy winner and Lilith Fair founder was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during April's Juno Awards.

Tickets for McLachlan start at $70.

Is it just me, or is it almost impossible to get tickets from Ticketmaster??
I saw Karine's post and thought it might be nice to have a long weekend in Toronto, and, hopefully see SMcL. )My much better half thought I was mad, but she already know that.)
I tried to get tickets but according to Ticketmaster it was mostly full, but "Some tickets were available" However, getting them was a no-no. Please bear in mind that this was on the day of release, and only 2 hours at the most, after release (this was early evening here in the UK)
I've had this problem with TM in the past where, no matter how quick you are, you get nothing! At the time of writing this piece of diatribe, TM still state that there are some tickets left, but when you go further in it tells you "Sold out...But check back, there may be late seating changes and tickets may be available then."
I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Sorry for the whining, but it's bloody annoying!!

I suspect some of this is due to the speed of connections and of Internet service. The closer you are and the faster your service the better your chance of locking up a good seat early. The best seats go within seconds, maybe microseconds, as I discovered in 2014 when I tried to get seats as soon as the sale began. I had a slow connection, and saw several good seats disappear when I selected them and before I was acknowledged they were already taken by somebody else. Stock traders know this, and spend vast sums to get faster and closer, since nanoseconds can make a difference. Then there is the role of scalpers and other resellers, who snap up dozens or hundreds at a time. Best of luck, Quincy. :(

I checked and you're right: all the tickets have been sold.

I wish people stopped buying from scalpers: if they ended up with a good bunch of unsold tickets, scalpers would stop buying them.

In Montréal, for Coldplay's concert at the beginning of August, many fans ended up with fake tickets. It was in the news everwhere, because the police was investigating. Some people paid 100$ for tickets that were valued 40$.

Hi everybody,
After all my winging and whining, I'm relieved that I didn't get the tickets. I now find that I have to go back into hospital for yet another operation on my eye. This will be late September, but I won't be fit for 4-5 weeks minimum.
It still doesn't get to the bottom of why tickets go as quickly as they do.
I'm not sure that your reasoning Ed, is sound. I tried to get tickets a few weeks ago for London Grammar at the O2 arena in my home city of Leeds. I tried to get online at work (Yes I know I shouldn't do that!) and they have fibre broadband connection. Within 8-10 minutes they were "gone"
The fact that I definitely couldn't go to that one is a blessing!
Still, things could be worse I suppose.

Best of luck with your operation, Quincy. Hope all turns out well. Is it more than cataracts? There will be other concerts.

Hi Ed,
The answer is yes...and no!
Several years ago I was involved in what was a fairly innocuous accident on a bus. However, a few days later I found that I had a detached retina, and Orbital Blowout Fractures in both eyes (albeit minor). I've had surgery to sort it out but lately I've been having other issues. On one of the visits to see the specialist, I found out that yes, I've also got cataracts. So,Cataract removal on one eye, and remedial surgery on the other.
Apart from that life's great.
It turns out that with SMcL's upcoming concerts in the Niagara Falls Casino, most of the tickets have gone to Casino high rollers and members of the Casino. It hasn't stopped tickets appearing on the secondary market for up to £220. Admittedly, that appears to be front row but it still stinks. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this!! (Yes, pun intended. I'm not blind to all of these sight related jokes!!)
