Yeah, shameful. These award shows should seriously consider adding a "Bubblegum" category.
I can still tolerate Beiber though (as well as Miley). Pre-teens/teens also deserve some role models to look up too. And unlike Gaga, Katy Perry, & Ke$ha, I don't think Beiber has inflicted some sort of an 'irreparable, serious damage' to this generation's music in general.

I agree with what you said Ben, but I think we can also say the same thing about young male stars too. Although male sexuality (as opposed to female sexuality) is best played subtly in my opinion. They simply get away with it most of the time on account of their gender.

Well most of the time it just looks tacky and ugly. Also in some cases, Katy Perry being a perfect example, the slutty image becomes more importaint than the music and I don't like that because the music should come first.
