FUN.....LUCKY, I had to be "Deplaned" 30min before take off. I had food poisoning.
Still it got me out of a week standing at an exhibition and talking to people who had no intention of buying from me.
Lost half a stone as well! I can think of better ways of losing weight though.

Oh boy that sounds awful! One of my next door neighbours came back from holiday and got food poisoning on the plane back. Really bad. She was very ill for a long time. A terrible end to a holiday. Hope they didn't send you to a hospital - those places can kill you.
My partner and I were still considering going to a few gigs if McL plays New York or Boston. The East Coast is the closest point in the US, so she can just about take the travel sickness if it's one plane trip over 6 hours. Worst experience was probably on the way to Arizona a few years ago where the co pilot walked to the back of the plane with a periscope. Seems they couldn't work out whether they had any landing gear, because the landing gear lights weren't on. So the co pilot has to try and see if the landing gear is down using the periscope. Captain comes on the air "well it looks like we have all the landing gear that we need, so we'll be landing shortly." Very reassuring.
I'm an opinionated old tosser and proud of it.
