Re: Sarah in other media
Hi, She is a good spokesperson for good causes. World on Fire has a particular resonance with today's Dark Ages, as it did in 2002 after 9/11. Thanks

Re: Sarah in other media
A while ago, Sarah was nominated by someone from Sarah McLachlan School of Music to show the students and others how she practices these days. Today her video is uploaded on Facebook and YouTube, among others. Enjoy!

You're so beautiful with an edge and charm
But so careful when I'm in your arms

They harmonize beautifully together. That song is still so special, and fits for so many experiences. India looks a lot like her mother did at that age. It brings back memories of her singing the songs of Touch and Solace, of which I have always been a big fan. Sarah, with that cap, looks like she's crewing on a salmon troller. Just the thing for B.C.

Lovely. She looks so natural. No pretensions or dress-up. Just the artist and her music. Solace for the soul.Luus81 wrote:A while ago, Sarah was nominated by someone from Sarah McLachlan School of Music to show the students and others how she practices these days. Last Tuesday, May 26th, there was an online live stream of WE Celebrate (WE Foundation) and Sarah was in it.
She performed at home with I Will Remember You on piano. You can watch this here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzBMSNv87BA&t=3059s
It's a 1 hour-long video, so if you only want to see Sarah, please forward to approximately 50:00, then the lady will announce Sarah, and Sarah's performance will start within 20 seconds...

Yeah, I saw a lil' preview of it few weeks ago... I actually didn't know who Gordon Lightfoot is, he's not well known in the Netherlands here, but I learned that Sarah has covered Song For A Winter's Night and If You Could Read My Mind (with Diana Krall) (I like both songs though!). Because of this I also went looking for the original versions of Gordon Lightfoot. I must say, his versions sound good too!Karine wrote:Sarah appears in a moving about Gordon Lightfoot:

Wow, there are so many good Canadian artists that I don't know, but are now discovering through Sarah.
If I had to list some Canadian artists right away, at least I only knew Bryan Adams (like his music too!), Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Justin Bieber and Alanis Morissette...
Curious about the movie of / about Gordon Lightfoot! I look forward to Sarah's contribution to this movie...
