Unexpected Sarah's Moment

This evening I went with my friend Sydney to a wiccan-earthy-hippie store downtown. Rarities II was playing throughout the store. I noticed Rarities II and Closer were on the wall of CDs. Sydney bought several stones and incense. I didn't buy anything, though I wish I would've got my nerve up to talk to the guy behind the counter more. He was very much my style, I mean we could've talked about Sarah right?

Today, I heard Sweet Surrender while at the doctor's with my mom. Then at Starbucks, I heard Out of Tune... Sarah's been following me around all day, I love it!

We have all shared moments about Sarah or most of us have at least. I was just curious to know if Ellie has met Sarah or been to a concert. Maybe Miguel would know or if you are listening Ellie, would you be so kind to tell us about your encounter. We all appreciate the fine work you have done to put this board together and believe me, I do like it as most all others do too. It brings together a good group of people who have things to say in their own way. A big family, a Sarah family has taken shape and I for one, am always happy to get feedback or just to have a say on different topics. The central figure in all this is Sarah but I wanted to acknowledge the dedication and commitment of our Ellie and even Miguel for, without them, this board would not be here. It is always nice to give praise now and again and I'm sure all of us here think about doing it on occasion. So thank you, you guys for making this happen and I salute you both.

Well first, thanks for the compliments! It's great to hear people enjoy it so much (while it isn't that much hard work actually )! But to your question, I've never seen Sarah in concert or in real life. I know she was in Holland during her Afterglow Tour but around that time I was only 14 and didn't know about her music yet. I do enjoy every unexpected Sarah moment here, whether I'm lucky and hear her in some local shop or her songs in some show on TV

This isn't exactly an unexpected moment since I've seen City of Angels more than twice before. It's on TV the other night and I decided to watch it since I'm not yet sleepy. Angel came through somewhere in the middle of the film.

The other day I went with my boyfriend to pick up his sister at the train station and I had my Laws Of Illusion cd on the car player and I was so surprised when his sister says she knows that voice and then she heard "U Want Me 2" and she immediatly recognised it from her gymn classes, apparently they use Sarah music to relax and do yoga and stuff like that

I was at Borders bookstore and heard all of Laws of Illusion. Also spent the weekend in Vegas and heard "Loving You is Easy" while shopping at one of the casinos (Paris or Venetian, I think).

Edited to add: Went to Wahoo's Fish Tacos the other night and randomly heard "Silence," which was completely unexpected, but I was glad to see some places are still playing this song!

I'm back in Montreal for a few days (for the first time since 2008!)...

I heard Angel yesterday on the radio and this morning, while driving, I heard Stupid. It feels great to be home, but I'm sad to know that I'll fly back to Bordeaux Tuesday!

Glad to have you back with us. I guess you are pretty lucky to be able to go to France. Never been there but heard it to be a beautiful place. Maybe one day.

My sister had a unexpected Sarah's moment... when they played "Vox" on the radio, in Montreal (Q 92,5 FM)! She told me: Not Angel! VOX!
