20th Anniversary of Solace

... is coming up in the middle of the year. Does anyone think Arista/Nettwerk will or should release a commemorative issue of the album? They released Closer for her 20 year career in music and FTE after 15 years.

It's my favorite album so I think they should. Would love it if they re-master it like they did for Closer.

They could package Solace and the Live EP together, but then Nettwerk have said in the past they will never re-issue the Live EP. or maybe just some select tracks.. Home was released in one of the murmurs CDs, DTTR in Rarities vol 1, and Black in the American Possession single

Or a b-sides disc with these:
DttR (acoustic)
Black (CBC session)
Shelter (violin mix)
Wear your love like heaven (if they don't want to add it on the main disc)
Into the Fire (John Fryer/video mix) and the remixes.
Black (William orbit remix)

A DVD with the music videos, and perhaps some live footage..?

Not sure what else they can add... any other ideas?

Maybe it'll be a good question to ask Sarah for the Q&A session, she probably won't know but might as well try!

that would be nice... i would like new cover art too. i wonder what sarah would do for a possible repackaging if she had more say in it although i don't think she is a fan of re-issues.

Maybe a remastered box set with a "Solace Live" DVD? 8-)
*daydreaming*

It'll be surprising if they ever release live footage from the Solace tour.

A booklet with never-before-seen pics would also be great

A whole new CD of Sarah Now and Then. Box Edition of Live concerts from Lilith Fairs then and now. Or an All-canadian Tour CD or an All-US Tour CD. I'm up for anything that will or could come out. Do I hear an ( Oh yeah ) from anyone else. :)

Those demos from around that era would be great as a bonus disc. Even better if they had 5.1 surround sound remastering.

I'd be up for the demo's at the very least. But could anyone see a release of demo's of songs. I think not.

Well we could call them The Sarah Basement Tapes. Demos from Past Times.

Plenty of artists release demos. Michael Jackson released demos, so did Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush.

With Sarah being such a perfectionist, it probably won't happen, though. :( Shame, because those songs are amazing!

A fun fact I read a few months ago. Did you know that Kharen Hill and Tony Pantages (the director of the music video for Hold On) are the two people at the back of Solace?
