So we're almost 3 months in since the release of LOI and some of us have been listening to the album to get used to the songs or just loving it over... how would you rank the songs from 1-10 (or 1-12 if you want include the Closer tracks)?

Here's my list, excluding the Closer tracks:

Wow, that's a very difficult decision because I keep changing my mind and most of them are pretty tied in my preference.

1. AWAKENINGS
(Best cut on the record for me - dark and brooding - and rocks hard!! wish there were more of it! - good to see
Sarah throwing off the middle-of-the-road shackles and fully going for it)
2. RIVERS OF LOVE
(This song really gets me - i love it - reminds me of Jeff Buckley)
3. LOVE COME (ALBUM VERSION)
(I love the soft version too - but I love the spikey keyboards in this - its great!)
4. CHANGES
(Dont know why a lot of people dont rate this one much - i think its superb - very Beatles - great lyrics)
5. OUT OF TUNE
(great song this one - really romantic - a great make out song lol)
6. LOVING YOU IS EASY
(Another song that reminds me of the Beatles - great lyrics in the chorus - love the
"Shot like a starburst into the sky.." and I love Sarah's jazzy trills in her voice on this)
7. ILLUSIONS OF BLISS
(great song - very Lilith fair - reminds me more of Paula Cole than Sarah for some reason)
8. BRING ON THE WONDER
(this song is okay - its very pretty although a little dull - nice harmonies though)
9. FORGIVENESS
(I rated this one low cos the song has a really nasty underbelly - its a good song but it grates on me)
10. HEARTBREAK
(This one I had to rate last - its just so bloody sugary!!! - its a good song but it sounds like Vanessa Carlton or the Dixie Chicks - a little TOO country for me - and I hated the lyrics on this song - sorry guys!) lol

Tbh, I really don't get the JB connection but on second thought, *this* is probably the reason why I love this song very much.

Sarah's voice doesnt so much remind me off Jeff - its the mood here she's setting,
its a really beautifully drowsy, dark song, with a screaming kick ass guitar solo - i could
imagine Sarah playing this song in a small smokey bar somewhere.
