I just recently discovered this amazing new artist in another forum where I belong. Grace Slick, Kate Bush, Beth Gibbons and Natasha Khan rolled into one. Debut album's due on February 2011. She's from Birmingham and was discovered when she put up some demos on her Myspace account. Amazing vocals, arguably one of the best I've heard since Paula Cole & Joan Osborne. She recently won the Q MAgazine's Next Big Thing Award and she's def one to watch in 2011.

She has a really good voice! :-) I hard heard her name as shes been part of the BBC's Sound of 2011 but today was the first time I really listened to one of her songs (Ain't Nobody). Will be checking more of her music out!

Good call Jessel! A friend of mine got me onto Clare a couple of months ago, but I am actually a little more impressed now that her 2nd video/single has come out...

Saw the video for The Last Dance on TV a couple of days ago, such an awesome song!!! :-D

According to Amazon UK album, Light After Dark is out on the 28th Febuary, can't wait!!

I don't know where I've been actually. Probably just off listening to music you guys wouldn't be as interested in, for a while. But inevitably when I find more Sarah-ish music, I come back here to waffle about it :P

This song is so BEAUTIFUL!!!! I think out of all the amazing British female singers who are finding scuccess (Florence + The Machine, Ellie Goulding etc) Clare Maguire has the best voice. I'm deffently rushing out to the record shop tomorrow!! :-D
