Out of respect for this guy, I thought we should have a MJ thread.

I am a huge (huge, huge!) fan of his music. He is one of 5 musicians that I will literally drop everything to hear something new from (those being Sarah, Peter Gabriel, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, and Christina Aguilera.) He is a true genius; I just saw his last video (that was never released), and he was dancing up a storm and looked so lively.

It's really sad what happened to him.

Anyway, what are some of your favorite MJ songs? Albums? My favorite album is either Thriller or Invincible, and my favorite song is Whatever Happens (love that song!)

Really looking forward to the new MJ album coming out next month. I preordered it, and will be getting the mp3s a day early (I love Sony sometimes.)

I never really followed MJ but he had so many great singles and has been very influential. I really don't know much about his discography but the first album I heard was 'Dangerous' on cassette which belonged to my sister.

I'd say my favorite song of his is... 'You Are Not Alone' followed by 'Man in the Mirror' =)

Well, the very first album I ever bought was Michael's. "Bad" in 1987, when I was 5.

I also always had Michael's music in the house growing up, being that my mom was a fan. I pretty much love everything I've heard from him - I have close to 500 songs of him solo on my Itunes (including over 100 rare or unreleased songs), all the Jackson 5 albums, and all the Jacksons albums.

I also follow the rest of the Jacksons, and am quite a huge fan of Janet and Jermaine. But Michael will always be my favorite.

My favorite MJ songs are Ben & Billie Jean. I'm not really a big fan but one of my aunts and my cousins are very much into MJ so I basically grew up listening to him anyway.

The new Michael Jackson album is fantastic! Sony has it up on their official page for Michael, and it's a beautiful album.
