That makes sense, Karine. I've wondered how many a top performer like Sarah can keep ready to play at any given time. With 10 or 11 new ones to remember, that's a lot to keep track of.

It appears they don't have setlists on the stage anymore. I assume the stage manager can queue them on their In-ear monitors, so they don't need them. The days of getting the performer to autograph a setlist are gone, probably (at least for major acts).
Well, it depends. My sister received the setlist for one Tegan and Sara concert and Tori Amos posts her setlist every night on Twitter/Facebook.
Maybe Sarah writes her setlist on her arm ;)

Oh, good one! I like her metaphor about "intimacity of gentle sex" with the fans, she seems to feel very good when she performs live.
Thanks for sharing it :)

I just found this one, not sure if it was posted before - from Hello Canada. And with a sort-of new picture!

Ellie, I didn't saw this one before ;) Such a lovely one ^^

I loved that part she told about her meeting with Peter Gabriel:
[...] So when people come up to me, and I can pretty much tell right away if they don't know what to say, I just hug them! We're all the same.

This interview answers the question Ian had about no songs from LOI, except Loving You is Easy. She doesn't connect with those songs anymore, like she said about the early songs. Loving You is Easy could have been on Shine On, so she does connect with it. I guess it's goodbye to the rest of that album, then, at least for shows.

Maybe it's the same now with some of the other old favorites she used to play, but hasn't been lately.

I read that she said in 2008 that Path of Thorns was "relevant again". Clearly it's not now, so that explains that one, too. :)

And Fumbling Towards Ecstasy. Now I understand why she is playing that song. It fits; not literally, but metaphorically. Those distant times of uncertainty and seeking have again reached a point where she "sees" her path to a better time. It's perfect. Right on, Sarah!

About LOI, this album is close to her, in time I mean. I guess singing songs from this record means to connect to this part of her life every night when she's on stage. Maybe in a few more years, her feelings towards the songs will be different and she will play them again.

I forgot she played U Want Me 2, though! So that throws the whole theory out the window.

As she said, she sings what she likes to sing. Since we like to hear her sing, we love it! :D
