Ah that would explan why I missed it. Not a single sighting of the Lesser Spotted McLachlan in the UK. Have to say the same for a British Olympic medal.Quincy wrote:At least some of you saw SMcL. The BBC, in their infinite wisdom, decided to cut that performance out of the edited highlights

Maybe next time she could go a little slower and not spill my tea. Okay, it was by far the best British performance. Matthew Pinsent was observing where all the money went and how much the rest of the Winter Olympic squad would receive in the future after all that failure. The BBC were at pains to describe how high tech that tea tray was. It was supposed to be expensive so you would think they would be able to put a nice floral pattern on it. At least some of the money wasn't thrown away, as she did win our only gold. The sole medal a country of 60 million people plus lottery funding managed to win. Our skiers managed to finish standing up, even thought it was 18-50th, but sadly our bobsleigh teams seemed to think they were competing in Australia. We had three youngsters finish about 50th in the cross country skiing. If they move to biathlon and shoot all the competitors in front of them, instead of the targets, they may stand a chance of a medal next time.
Sorry Americans, I love you, but I hope the Canadians win the Ice Hockey tonight.
