I still wonder if there is really going to be a new album, or whether Lilith is it for this year. She is an unusual artist who does things her way. At times I think she has really good business sense, the way she makes the most of the few songs she has writen by constantly recycling and repackaging them. At others I do wonder what the game plan is. Wait and see.

I'm sorry to say that I have to agree with you. With One Dream and promoting the Winter Olympics as well as getting Lilith 2010 ready , I don't really see where she'd have the time to create a new album. But, she has surprised us before, so maybe she'll use Lilith as some kind of pre-promotional tour for a new album before going on a solo tour. But since a lot of Lilith concerts are planned for this summer, I don't think she'll be going solo this year.
Maybe that will increase the chances of her coming to Europe? I do hope so. I guess I'll just have to wait and see

I'm actually expecting a new album by April (or May at the latest) this year. Or am I missing something here? Hell, I don't want another Greatest Hits II or Remixed III or whatever with just another 2 or 3 new tracks thrown in. Maybe it's just me but I do have a problem with having to shell out money for a new compilation album in order to acquire the new tracks. I hate getting ripped off by these greedy record companies

I agree with you Jessel, I would also feel ripped off having to pay for another compilation of (old) hits
So I hope you are both right on the new album 'gossip' of April/May 2010!

If a new album does materialise this year I am more than willing to admit I was wrong. It's a habit I am now getting used to thanks to bitter experience. I thought Lilith Fair was just one more way of keeping McLachlan in the public eye, without having new material, and a way of selling the same old recycled tracks one more time. I would have put the chances of a new album happening this year about as likely as Elvis turning up on the doorstep asking directions to the nearest Burger King. Looks like I will be kissing some boots if you lot are right.

I just pre-ordered mine. You get it on the day of release and access to the Lilith pre-sales. I didn't think that we'd see the day.Its good to be a fan.
