Same here!

ROFL @ The Squirrel. Looks like somebody is off his meds!
It's good to see you on the boards again.
Thanks Jessel. I notice there looks to be very little activity here at the moment considering the new album and the live shows. The politically correct can just cringe in horror, because I am not mellowing as I get older. I am even more bitter, angry and twisted than ever. My partner is just the same. Think one day she'll stab someone. Just hope it wont be me. Incidentally if you're in the Philippines, I guess you're gonna have to do some serious travelling to see McL live. Looks like that way for us in Europe too. At least she did do one European tour in 23 years.

Have you heard about the new Sandy Denny 19 cd boxed set at £150? Have to admit I'm drooling. Just the same as all those Mclachlan fans I criticised who bought the same old stuff over and over cos it had nice new pictures.
I'm an opinionated old tosser and proud of it.

Yup, yup, heard of that limited edition boxed set and wondering if a used copy would turn up on ebay soon. I'm not sure if it's going to be a re-master or just a re-release with a thimbleful of newly-surfaced bonus material thrown in just like the Boxful of Treasures set, though I'm hoping it's the former. But according to the website where I first saw it, there's going to be 8 CDs (!) worth of unreleased material. Oh, and the long lost recording of Lord Bateman(!) is included in the collection. That alone makes me drool!

Btw, Sarah once mentioned in an interview that she's planning to visit the Phils. as part of her tour(?) and I'm very much looking forward to that. :D

Just want to say this. I side with Miguel about Sarah's privacy. I as a fan, respect fully all that she does as we all know she has a good heart and if at any time in her life, past or present she decides to indulge in whatever she feels like to make her happy at the time then so be it. Now I am sure the Squirrel, in his own way is just passing the time and making good humor and that is okay also. he has the right to say whatever he wants and I think we must accept all comments as that is why we are here to chat and give our views. I just hope that well, we could be kind to Sarah as she is wonderful and kind to us with her songs and her willingness to make our lives a better and hopefully happy time. We are here in celebration of her work and her life. thank you.

Oh boy I hope you get to see her! Good luck.

Yes there are supposed to be 8 CD's of new Sandy Denny material, not necessarily from Boxful Of Treasures. There are supposed to be newly discovered rarities too, never released anywhere before. It's a must have for Denny fans.

Empirejim, you come across as a really nice sweet person, as I think most McLachlan fans are. I am probably an exception. I can see why you think she is being kind to us with her songs, but I consider she is just doing a job, and making the most money she can out of it. I consider she is in it for the money and the ego trip. Nothing wrong with that. I don't care about or know her, any more than she cares about or knows me. She's in the public eye, she chose the lifestyle and the life, because that's what she wanted. I am not a usual McLachlan fan as I don't love her, I don't even like her or respect her, I love her music. That doesn't mean I have to take her seriously or believe a word that she says. I don't. I don't care about her privacy, her life, or whether she is happy or unhappy. That's a different view from most who are on here, but the thing we all agree on is the music.

I have altered my signature because what someone said on another forum about the members, sums up what I am like. So it made the perfect signature on there, and a perfect signature on here.
