Decadence: 10 Years of Nettwerk

Post by Crazylitstudent » Sat Mar 27, 2010 12:39 pm

I recently tracked down a copy of Decadence; the compliation that Nettwerk put out for their 10th Anniversary in 1995. The Multimedia section on each disc is asolutley amazing! There is an early video of Sarah being interviewed around the time of Touch. A Canadian news report from around 1992ish where Sarah is interviewed, a interview with Sarah on what her songs mean to people, a video of Sarah rehershing Hold On at the Nettwerk 10th Aniversary Concert and one of her and a member of a band called Ginger preforming 'The Girl from Ipanema' from the same concert. And theres a photo of Sarah in front of Mt Rushmore that I have never seen before!

This has got me thinking: Why did Nettwerk drop all thier cool mulitmeida stuff from their CDs?? Stuff like this and the Freedom Sessions rock my world but the lack of stuff on later relases makes me sad... Its like during the 90s the company was amazing and creative but things changed during the 00s and they lost thier "spark"...

Yes thats the video :) I love Sarah's funky moves at the start!

I have been looking through all the CDs for anymore Sarah stuff but the only thing I found was Easter Egg were you can read a letter saying thank you to Sarah for a Letterman Performance. Sadly I'm having problems getting screenshots etc as I have to run the CDs on my computer that still has windows 98 (which I can't hook up to the net) because the multimedia won't run in Vista! :|

Thanks for your answer. Someone from SarahBoard sent me this video a while ago: I couldn't remember who it was and nobody was able to tell me where this video came from!

I'll add these details for the Youtube video.

You can also go to "My Computer", right click on the drive the CD is in and select 'Explore'. I'm sure you'll still be able to see the contents in them

Same here. I've been wondering where did that video came from all this time. :D
One little leaf adrift in the breeze, refuses to fall from the sky
Blown by the wind it clings to the tree, unwilling to wither and die...

Thanks Miguel! :D I still can't get the photos at the moment because they are built into the mircomedia program that won't work on here... But the videos are now all on my harddrive! ;)

Starting a topic in multimedia for people who want to trade for them! :)
