Also great thing to post!

Before Sarah went touring, she attended Tori Amos concert in Vancouver on Wednesday June 8th!

Tori posted this on her instagram:

And also Jon Evans (now touring with Tori, but also played for/with Sarah) posted this in his Instagram:

It's great to see both singers in 1 pic. :D

And at this concert in Vancoiver, Tori played Building A Mystery! :)

Well, she's not so quiet at all these days... ;)
I'm sorry I was busy by myself so I couldn't post new updates about Sarah in the last months, weeks...

I don't know where to start, but last weekend Sarah was at The Gorge again. On Friday night June 9th, Brandi Carlile invited her to duet. They did Hold On together and it sounded very good. Many clips of this can be found on YouTube, and this is one of the best:

On June 10, Saturday Night, Brandi organised a Joni Jam, headlined by Joni Mitchell, and Sarah was a part of them. A lot of clips of this event can be found on YouTube. Sarah sang Blue for Joni. This blew me away...
Version 1: https://youtu.be/ojaf_0bTNMk (in this clip you couldn't see Sarah, but this sounds good)
Version 2: https://youtu.be/OY7Qf75KS-I (this is filmed from the big screen)

Few months ago Sarah sealed a deal with Primary Wave. Last Friday a article surfaced on internet which it starts with a small interview with Sarah about her new deal with Primary Wave. Interesting stuff in there! https://www.washingtonpost.com/arts-ent ... gue-sales/
This is the "Sarah-part" of the article:
The scent of Sarah McLachlan. The idea emerges early in the first pitch between Primary Wave, the music publishing and talent management company, and the Canadian pop star, who has sold more than 40 million albums, won three Grammys and founded the all-female Lilith Fair music festival.

There was a time when McLachlan, like so many artists of her stature, wouldn’t have considered selling even a single chorus to a private company as a manageable asset. But at 55 and nearly a decade past her most recent album of original songs, McLachlan has been frustrated by how her back catalogue has been managed — or in her view, ignored — by Sony Music Publishing.

“They’re banks,” she says of the major publishers. “They just hold the material. They don’t actually do anything, as far as I can tell. So I’m excited at that opportunity, that they might be able to reengage with some audiences and reimagine some of my music in a way that I may not be yet aware of.”

This first brainstorm session took place this spring, just weeks after Primary Wave, founded by former Arista Records executive Larry Mestel and fresh off a $2 billion infusion from Brookfield Asset Management, struck a deal to buy a share of McLachlan’s songs. McLachlan tuned in from her home in Vancouver, B.C., as talk turned to obvious hooks for creating new buzz — a Lilith doc in the works, the upcoming 30th anniversary of her career-making “Fumbling Into Ecstasy” — and the not so obvious. Had she considered appearing on “CMT Crossroads” in Nashville? Did she have song “stems” that could be shared with other artists for samples? And then there was Eau de Sarah. That came from chief branding officer Jeff Straughn.

“Have you ever thought about doing a fragrance?” he asked. “Is the beauty space something that you’re open to?”

“In theory,” McLachlan said and then paused. “I haven’t thought about it.”
Up to her website, she has 4 events planned in July and August. All of them in Canada.

So up to me, Sarah is not quiet at all. Just take a look at her Instagram sometimes, not only her profile, but also look where she is tagged. You'll find some great stuff there.
And also take a look at YouTube sometimes!!! For example: few weeks ago, Sarah did a concert at Fallsview Casino in Canada, and I found clips of this event on YouTube (some of them are good quality).

She is very quiet to me. No new music in years.
Virtually no social media output, no tik tok channel - compared to others stars of her level.

Only tours Northern America

Just wish for more. Miss hearing new music from her

This is very interesting news, at least for me!

I just realized I had not logged in the forum in a few months (I'm still on mat leave, with my 7-month-old baby, also busy with the two older ones, 2 and 3 1/2!!), so unfortunately, Sarah hasn't been a priority.

The discussion regarding her catalogue is very interesting, thank you for sharing!!

Metric transforms Sarah McLachlan song into 'a total cartoon banger' for new Scott Pilgrim series
The Toronto rock band originally contributed a song to the soundtrack of Edgar Wright’s 2010 film

Last week, Netflix released Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, an animated series inspired by Bryan Lee O'Malley's 2000s graphic novels about a twentysomething Toronto musician who meets the girl of his dreams. This new, eight-episode show was written by O'Malley and BenDavid Grabinski; Edgar Wright, who directed the 2010 film adaptation, returns as an executive producer.

Scott Pilgrim is back as an anime and he's as Canadian and slacker-ish as ever
Scott Pilgrim turns 10: how the cult film gave fans a perfect snapshot of Toronto's indie music scene
The entire cast of the film reunited for the series, but viewers will spot a bonus cameo by Toronto rock band Metric. The band, who originally contributed the song "Black Sheep" to the 2010 soundtrack (which was performed in the movie by the Brie Larson-led band, Clash at Demonhead), appear on the show's second episode to perform a cover of Sarah McLachlan's 1995 hit, "I Will Remember You."

[Spoilers ahead]
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off flips the script on the original story with the pilot episode diverging from the film and comics by having love interest Ramona Flowers' first evil ex, Matthew Patel, killing Pilgrim in battle. The second episode takes place at Pilgrim's funeral where Larson's character, Pilgrim's ex-girlfriend Envy Adams, shows up to perform the McLachlan song.

"When I got the call from [Edgar Wright] asking me to do a vocal cameo in a Scott Pilgrim anime show featuring the original cast of the movie, of course I was interested," Metric's Emily Haines said, in a statement to CBC Music. "He sent me the funeral scene and showed me how Envy performs Sarah's song and I just loved it. [Metric guitarist Jimmy Shaw] crafted the track with the team into a total cartoon banger in the vibe of 'Black Sheep.' Scott Pilgrim forever!"

The series also brings "Black Sheep" back for a scene, but the rest of its soundtrack was helmed by New York band Anamanaguchi, who crafted the score for 2010's Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game. The 2010 film soundtrack also featured music from Broken Social Scene, Beck, and Halifax band Plumtree whose song "Scott Pilgrim" inspired the name of the comics' protagonist.
