Really? When did she mention that?

A new album would be great, I wouldn't mind an EP either. I think they should have waited for this release until next year when it would have been 10 years 8-)

Yes, she talked about recording a new Christmas album:
“I’m going to probably put out another Christmas record at some point, so I’m going to start compiling songs for that and figure out how to produce them. But again, that’s all from home,” she said.

“And a Christmas record is a very short window, so even if I do go out and promote it, a tour would be like six weeks.”

Thanks! Maybe I shouldn't have read that article. Too depressing! "New Sarah McLachlan album 2020"? :? :x

But she said she'll put out stuff little by little, so there's some hope, lol

It sounds more like 2025, from what she says about staying home until both her kids are out of high school, Miquel.

But maybe the occasional single on iTunes is the model now, anyway. Maybe she will do solo performances on Twitter, or something like that, from home. A "virtual" concert even. ;)

If it's a gap as long as Afterglow - Laws of Illusion with something in between, I probably wouldn't mind, but I'll miss her

Also, found the cover of the album on ebay

She looks kind of wistful. A nice picture, though. :)
