Washington, D.C. (August 29, 2011) –Today, the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, announced that Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan will perform at the dedication ceremony of the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 10, 2011. The event will also welcome dignitaries, special guests, and Flight 93 family members and friends. A complete list of speakers and performers will be announced shortly. Through a partnership between National Park Foundation and HISTORY, the dedication will be broadcast LIVE beginning at 12:30pm ET/ 9:30am PT on www.Flight93Dedication.org and at history.com/flight93.

Not much is going on in the world of Sarah, but here’s a new performance:
Burlington Performing Arts Centre, 03 December
The theatre’s official opening ceremony, billed as a red carpet experience, is on Dec. 3. The event will feature award-winning Canadian songbird Sarah McLachlan. Tickets to the event will be available for purchase by members of the general public. The price to attend the opening night will be announced in late July.
