New album news

In a recent interview with ET Canada – about Barefoot in the Backyard – Sarah mentions she hopes her new album will be finished in December. The video also provides with some stuff of her Barefoot in the Backyard performance, so take a look! Here and here are also two pictures from that event.

And this article is worth reading!

A recent study published in the journal PLOS One found that people who exercise in natural settings enhance their creativity. Stuff from the Vogel Alcove Benefit

Found this review and the setlist online:

Like a painting on a museum wall, Sarah McLachlan’s voice hung in the Meyerson for all to admire.

The 45-year-old singer-songwriter was in town Monday to perform at the Vogel Alcove’s “Arts Performance Event,” an evening with its proceeds benefiting the work of the Dallas-based Vogel Alcove, a non-profit organization providing education and child care for homeless children under the age of six.

Her 75-minute set was frequently breathtaking, particularly in light of McLachlan’s admission she’d been suffering from “walking pneumonia” for the last seven weeks, and despite what she called “a frog in her throat,” she was delighted to finally be able to sing again.

Read the full thing right over here. I haven’t been able to find photos yet, but I’m sure they’ll pop up. The setlist (she was with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra):
