Since we don’t have an advent calendar this year, I thought I’d put this online: it’s a guestbook! Everyone can leave their Christmas wishes behind for any other Sarah fan:

After being away for seven years, singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan returns with a new album called “Laws of Illusion”. The Grammy award winner is mostly known for her songs such as “Angel”, “Sweet Surrender” and “Building a Mystery”.

There, where her “Afterglow” stopped, is “Laws of Illusion” picking it up. Sarah’s strong vocals and poetic lyrics speak of heartbreak, loss and illusions. Supported by the amazing music the songs of “Laws of Illusion” will lift up your mind and enter Sarah’s world. Once again she put together a masterpiece – Sarah is back and we will all know it! “Laws of Illusion” contains songs such as “Hearbreak”, “Awakenings”, “Illusions of Bliss” and her two songs she released earlier, “U Want Me 2” and “Don’t Give Up On Us”.

“Loving You Is Easy” was the first single released from the album, and is more upbeat than we’re used to from her. But even singing happy songs, she knows how to add sadness in those songs – when she sings: “how long must I wait ‘til I see your smile”. The music video for this song is out now too!

But not just Sarah is back. She brought with her the all-female festival Lilith Fair. This festival, which ran from 1997 until 1999, is back with females of this time: Norah Jones, Heart, Rihanna, Sara Bareilles and a lot more. The festival starts at June 27^th in Calgary and will hit the big cities.

Technically, Solaced started on 03 June 2006. Which means it’s online for 4 years today! Can’t believe it! Here’s to another 4 years (and many, many more of course)!

Just to let you know I’ve fixed a few download links in the media performances part of this site. A few of them were expired, and now they’re pernament links. Still hosted elsewhere since it are alot of files and big files. I hope you don’t have any problems downloading them. For those who don’t know it yet, you can find the media performances list (and the downloads) through Tour and under “past media performances” (sorted by year).
