Sarah McLachlan gets World Service Medal in Vancouver

Singer Sarah McLachlan was awarded the Kiwanis International World Service Medal for her dedication to music education during the organization’s 98th annual convention in Vancouver on Saturday.

McLachlan founded a free music program in Vancouver for youth who wouldn’t otherwise have access to a music education.
