Sarah McLachlan Concert Benefits the Charlottesville Free Clinic

The NTelos Wireless Pavilion is getting set up for a concert to benefit the Charlottesville Free Clinic.

Sunday night’s Sarah McLachlan concert will be the singer’s first ever show in Charlottesville. This is the eleventh year the free clinic has benefited from a fundraising concert.

The clinic’s director says the concert series has helped expand the services the clinic can offer the community.

Free Clinic Director Eric Viccelio said, “It’s really helped us to think bigger and do more for our patients, and so often times it’s about expanding services like dental care and mental health services. This year we’re really focusing on the Affordable Care Act and helping our patients to understand what it can mean for them.”
