Sarah will perform “Beautiful Girl” at the upcoming Junos Awards in Winnipeg! From this site:

McLachlan, who has performed at the JUNO Awards seven times, returns to the JUNO stage with the Canadian television debut performance of “Beautiful Girl” from her upcoming album, Shine On. It was previously announced that McLachlan would appear as a special presenter for MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity, associated with CARAS. McLachlan will be speaking about the extensive work MusiCounts is doing in 2014 that will help keep music alive for Canadian youth and put instruments into the hands of children who need it most.

The ones who visit the forum can read it there, but I wanted to leave a small cry of help out here as well. The big Sarah archive I had is gone, seeing my external hard drive decided to crash on me yesterday. It has served me over more than 5 years, so I can’t blame anything really. Most of the Sarah files I have are fine because they are either on CD or are here up for download so I can access them. I still miss some files though, mainly videos (interviews, live performances, media performances, you name it) and some other small files.

If you have anything you are willing to share, please contact me either at my hotmail address (solacednl@hotmail.com) or the gmail address (solacedinfo@gmail.com). Please, do not put anything here up for download, but just email me. Thanks in advance!

The Alberta Ballet just announced their lineup for the 2014-2015 season. They’ll be doing the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy show again, though this time there’ll be new choreography and songs from Shine On will be added! You’ll have to wait until February 2015 though! Here is the schedule:

Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
Calgary: February 12-14, 2015
Edmonton: February 20-21, 2015

Good news! Canadian Artist Sarah McLachlan will perform at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor on Friday, July 18th, 2014. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 7th, and are priced between $22.74 to $68.75.

You know you want to go to that show, right? But what are you willing to do for it? How about sing your heart out in our Q96.1 Karaoke Contest!

What do you have to do? Easy! On Thursday, March 6th, be listening for the cue to call in to the Q96.1 studio line (207) 764-5600 between 11:30 a.m. and 12 noon. Once you hear the cue to call, call in and sing us the lyrics to the chorus to Sarah McLachlan’s hit song, “I Will Remember You.”
