And…

After seven long years, Canadian artist Sarah McLachlan will be releasing her brand new studio album “The Laws of Illusion” on June 15th. The following day, on Wednesday, June 16, Canada AM will air a special live concert during our show starring Sarah McLachlan.

If you are planning to be in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) that day and would like to be a member of our studio audience to experience the music of Sarah McLachlan up close and personal, send an email to amsoundstage@ctv.ca.

The first 200 people to send us an email with their day/night contact information will get a reply confirming they have secured two seats in the audience for this concert along with directions to the location, and the required arrival times.

The performance of yesterday is up! Sarah played “Loving You Is Easy”.

Singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan, who is coming out with a new album called “Laws of Illusion,” spent an afternoon with us chatting about music, her kids and her wish to perform in the Philippines.

When we asked Sarah why she named her new album “Laws of Illusion,” Sarah explained that it was an offshoot of the “emotional rollercoaster I experienced when I separated from my husband.”

Sarah, who has two small kids, said she brings them to her tours. “So it is a big adventure for them when they come to work with mommy,” she disclosed with a smile.

The multi-platinum and Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter is also looking forward to performing in the Philippines. “I have been to Japan, Hong Kong and India but I have not been to the Philippines yet,” she said. “I would love to go there one of these days. I know I have a lot of fans there.”

Fans are invited to attend the live intimate Good Morning America concert performance on Friday June 11 in New York City at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield! The concert is free and open to the public- enter at the 72nd street and 5th avenue entrance at 6 AM. The show will take place live from 7-9 AM. Come out and support Sarah!!
