Sarah McLachlan will perform at the first-ever Cinema Against AIDS benefit gala to be held during the Toronto International Film Festival.
AmfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research and Dignitas International are partnering on the event, taking place Sept. 15 at the Carlu.
AmfAR ambassador Michelle Yeoh is serving as chair along with AmfAR chairman Kenneth Cole, John Demsey, Milutin Gatsby, Trudy Grant, AmfAR founding chairman Dr. Mathilde Krim, Dignitas co-founder Dr. James Orbinski, and Kevin Sullivan.
The event will be sponsored by Sullivan Entertainment and co-sponsored by MAC Cosmetics.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — YCAA provided an MPC7 silent piano for the filming of an Olympics commercial, which will feature Yamaha artist Sarah McLachlan playing the piano. This is the Canadian singer/songwriter’s second promotion with the 2010 Winter games; she also headlined the one-year countdown concert on February 12, 2009. The Winter Olympics will take place in Vancouver, Canada from February 12-28, 2010.
